gordias.datahandling.create_output_filenames(cube: Cube, output_filename: str) → str#

Create an updated output filename for a cube.

Parameters:

  • result (iris.cube.Cube) – The iris cube to be saved.

  • output_filename (string) – The filename of the output. Must refer to a netCDF4 file, i.e. .nc.

Returns:

filename – The output filename with updated date.

Return type:

str
